Spin-Off Barometer

HSG spinoffs are an important factor in the commercialization of scientific knowledge and thus the development as well as the growth of the regional economy. The annual HSG Spin-Off Barometer tracks the development of HSG spin-offs based on a selection of KPIs.
Since 2017, the University of St.Gallen has been awarding the HSG Spin-Off Label under the direction of the Center for Entrepreneurship. The label promotes and contributes to the entrepreneurial community at the University of St.Gallen.
In addition to awarding the label to start-ups, the Center for Entrepreneurship publishes an annual HSG Spin-off Barometer to inform the public about the entrepreneurial potential and strength of HSG spin-offs.
